There is a Librarian/Curator job listing up on a school's website that I want to apply for later in the year, but it is for immediate hire. Should I apply for it, or gather the materials I would need when I am ready to apply, or should I just disregard it because it is an immediate job? I just don't understand how that works when applying for university positions.
