Main Responsibilities
The incumbent will be integrating applications that blur the lines between online, mobile, and in-store experiences – all so our client’s customers can spend less and live better!

The incumbent will also design, develop, and implement web-based Java applications to support business requirements. They will also be responsible for following approved life cycle methodologies, creating design documents, and performs program coding and testing. Moreover, the incumbent will also resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
Skills and Qualifications
React Native expert
• 3 years of experience in JavaScript and React/Redux
• Experience with ES6 and CSS
• Comfort working through Asynchronous Code
• Strong front end development experience
• Bachelor's degree in an area of specialty (App development, Software development)
• Strong degree of creativity
Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 3 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. A degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Great to have
1) Java environment experience with spring and java would be preferred
2) Some cloud experience
3) AWS or Google Cloud is fine
The incumbent will be working closely with other internal IT teams, such as the UX team and other development teams to ensure that their technical specs are in line with the overall customer experience.
The Digital Retail Services, which includes our client, is trying to modernize the front end POS experience for their customers in 3 main areas
1) Checking out with a store rep
2) Self check out
3) Hand held devices for check out anywhere in the store.
