Logistics Broker - Carrier Sales
One Source Solutions is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and capable logistics professional to assist in carrier management in one of our primary verticals. This position involves managing multiple vendors with various service offerings in a broker environment. On a daily basis, you'll be tasked with seeking out new and old vendors to accomplish our customer's logistics needs. Using our TMS history, national load boards, private carrier interface platforms and your skills as a truck finder, you will be part of a team that strives to get the job done every day with impeccable customer service. Candidates with Bachelor's Degree preferred, but students working towards a Bachelor's degree or with valuable experience will be considered as well.
The best candidate will have strong experience in operational problem resolution skills, motivated and personal customer service, and a team first focus in addition to the following:
Service Skills/Requirements:
- Freight industry knowledge with an emphasis on Truckload Brokerage
- Freight operational experience brokering to dry van, flatbed, & drayage (port & intermodal) carriers.
- Established carrier contacts a plus.
- Freight management experience a plus.
- Carrier compliance knowledge a plus.
Computer skills:
- TMS
- Private carrier interface platforms
- Load boards
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
