What you’ll be responsible for:
Throughout this program, you will learn fundamental sales skills not taught in a traditional collegiate study program such as:
- The practice of researching prospects on LinkedIn, and the industry websites (i.e., FDIC, bank's website, etc.).
- The formula of conducting a cold call and building rapport - getting a prospect into System 2 thinking.
- The criteria for Qualifying prospects based on BANT/MEDDPIC/PACTT/SPICE/PACTT components.
- The competitive landscape for the solutions being positioned in the prospect discussions.
- Learn a variety of JH products and discussing the problem each solution can solve for the bank.
- Network with Inside Sales BDM on campaigns driven by the Inside Sales teams; also, the corresponding Inside Sales Reps. and product operations team members in positioning the appropriate solutions.
- Use of product tool kits used to position solutions; and actively participating in their improvement.
- Help to create calling scripts and follow-up email/video templates.
- Track KPIs for the success of their calling/email efforts.
What you’ll need to have:
- Enrolled at an accredited university or technical program with a graduation/completion date of December 2022 or May 2023.
- Be able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the summer internship with minimum absences.
- Meet legal requirements to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time without any sponsorship.
What would be nice for you to have:
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or Sales.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of the FinTech industry.
