Global Integrated Marketing - Strategy Intern

Hasbro’s Global Integrated Marketing team is looking for an Intern, Strategy & Planning for the upcoming Spring semester, January- April 2022.
 
This full-time internship will support the Strategy & Planning team in shepherding key initiatives spanning the diverse portfolio of Hasbro and EntertainmentOne brands. They will partner with several cross-functional teams to help provide strategic insights and standard practice for various marketing efforts.
This would include, but not be limited to, strategic brief review and writing, data analysis, and idea conception and presentation. Additionally, they will be encouraged to engage in forward-thinking ideation that would enable break frame initiatives.
 
A day in the life of a Global Integrated Marketing- Strategy Intern…
  • Research and Analyze Consumer, Industry and Cultural Trends + Insights: Help understand and monitor competitive landscape and broad market trends in the advertising landscape, as well as emerging cultural and consumer trends – all through the lens of specific active project(s).
  • Support Execution around Marketing Key Message Development: Help analyze consumer insights with brand/product strategies, to strengthen and further test key marketing messaging, across audiences, before and during the creative development process.
  • Activate with Insights against Marketing Campaign Strategies/Pitches: Help develop and strategically frame up inspiring stories (maximising insights) that align with creative strategies and lead to big creative campaign strategies/ideas.
What you’ll bring…
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A passion and curiosity for brand & digital marketing.
  • College-level marketing and/or advertising education with focus on advertising and consumer insights. Previous internship experience with brand/agency is a plus!
  • Digital acumen across the wide range of platforms.
  • Strong focus on social media and video-based advertising.
  • Strong storyteller, with the ability to conceive creative ideas with brand objectives and target consumers in mind
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in crafting pitch presentations (keynote and/or PowerPoint)
  • Graphic Design skills a major plus!
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with honesty and integrity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ideally MS Teams.
