Winter Co-op/PMO Analyst
Description of Department:
The Vx Tech Data & Analytics team is focused on developing new technology for modernizing various R&D and Pharma processes.
This role will be key in helping to establish and maintain this capability while working with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description:
We are seeking an individual who understands PM concepts, understands process/work flows and/or data analytics, and is interested in software development. This role will be helping the launch of new processes to standardize across the portfolio. From Demand through Delivery.
Responsibilities include:
- Project coordination support for team activities. (Product demand / resources / timelines)
- Agile ways of working (Jira / Confluence / Teams)
- Collection of weekly status reports / LT reporting / dashboard across portfolio
- Working closely with internal/external analytics team along with business stakeholders & other tech teams
- Attendance at relevant onsite meetings
- Assist in development of ongoing process improvements (Automation of Project tracking / status / dashboard/ resourcing / change management/release, etc.)
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, or related majors.
- Must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of their employment. Candidates will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization. STEM OPT extensions are not supported.
- Must be able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the 4-12 month co-op.
- Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS or MS degree program. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience developing process flows.
- Previous intern/co-op is a plus
- Understand PM concepts
- Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Use of Jira, Confluence, Teams preferred. Other tools as needed/required - Remedy/Service Now, Pandora, Smartsheet
- Understanding of business requirements
- Excellent communication skills.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check prior to assignment target start date.
- Must provide your own funding for relocation and commuting.
